Well my little girl is really growing fast, shes got the cutest little laugh now.  Shes finally rolling over and is starting to like being on her tummy.  Shes starting to hold her bottle when she gets it, and when she nursing shes beating mommie up.  Its all good though.  This weekend we went out and supported Dominos Pizza in a 24hour relay and she loved every minute of it.  There were lots of people she got to meet and she got to see a pony and some ducks and bunnies, her favourite were the squirrels.  One thing im starting to notice is that shes got her mommies attitude.  Lord help me now im gonna need it when shes older.  Im in trouble.  LOL

Well its been ten weeks since Ekaterina was born and things have been going well.  I have had a few bad days, but Ekaterina and I are adjusting better now.  She had he two month check up yesterday and she is up to 11lbs 9oz.  What a little piggy.  She got 2 needles as well and she did great.  She cried only a little and she was in a good mood for the rest of the day.  Ekaterina has been making lots of silly faces lately and shes realy learning how to stick her tonge out now.  She has been making lots of cute noises now, as well as smiling and she has just started to giggle now.  She is a little gem, i think i might keep her for a while.  lol

Well Ekaterina and I made it back to Thunder Bay.  She had so much fun while we were down visiting the family.  We found out that Ekaterina loves to fly and the take off and landing dont bother her at all.  We got to see lots of the family and had lots of fun going to the car wreckers.  We cant wait till we get to move back home so we can have lots of Nanny and Grandpa time which she loves.  Were glad to be back with Daddy of course but we really miss everyone from Kingston. 

Well today was the first day back at work after my trip to the good ol USA.  Its funny how crossing that boarder changes who you are, it is also strange that you look at everyone else as different yet you know in your heart that they are all the same.  I saw my first toyota supra up close and boy was i ever mistaken on the size of those bastards, there freeking huge, of course this specimin did have a widebody kit on it.

Al, Toni, Dawn-Ann, and I all stayed in this DIVE of a hotel but it was cheap and right next to a wicked little bar, little is a bit deciving cause you walk in and its just like in the cartoons cause the bulding just keeps on going, and going, and going, and...... cool little place, 3rd Rock it was called, interesting atmosphere, not unlike our beloved TOWNER.

Now to the mushy stuff, it's funny how one moment you can be having fun and the next moment be on the verge of crying.  I found myself sitting in the corner of the motel room with feet up on the bed nursing gin and tonic NO. 5 watching Al, Toni, and Dawn all sitting there chattin it up when i just had this urge to cry, but i didn't cause that would have wrecked the weekend. Even now its difficult, what was i so choked up about? well my girls are on the other side of the province hangin out (which i have no problem with CAT) but i miss them both.  Its nice to hear that EK is enjoying her trips everywhere (plane, car, ferry) and that just makes me excited because in the future she won't be afraid of such things and we will have much in common (hopefully, and no HAMLYN she is not going to rebel against me, hopefully lol) After that it was just a crazy drinkin and dancin night.

Cat you have to try this US booze i bought its the shit.  And NOTE TO SELF don't drive anywhere long distance in a tuner car DAM that hurt the next day, i don't know how Al ever does it. I mean yes its a civic yes its fast and cool looking and could blow the doors off many others but when it comes down to ride quality well lets just say i was jumping outa my seat and kissing the roof.  Next time Misty will be the mare of choice!

Well its day 2 of life without ekaterina and catherine and i am so bored there is nothing to do,  I have only been a father for two weeks and already i can't get enough of her!  Catherine seems to think that i am afraid of her but i am not.  Some times i have other things on my mind and can't realy break concentration long enough to say something but when EK is in my arms thats all i breath.

Flying was a breeze for Ekaterina mostly because i trained her well,  We went on a SIMULATED flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto using Flight Simulator 2000 Pro and she didin't make a noise the entire time.  So on the real flight she must have remembered that "flying is cool and it gives me time to sleep" but while she was sleeping she forgot to check the battery power in the plane and therefor we had an electrical mafunction, Way to sleep on the job EK.

Ekaterina Was born this morning at 5:11 am and she is cute as a button.

She is 8 lbs 7 oz and has the cutest little nose,  she has alot of hair and doesn't make very much noise YET.

Cats labor was only 8 hours long, which is good.

I was a little peved about the lockdown at the hospital but the nurses and staff are very good about it, i was able to switch places with Wendie (cats mom) so i can bring her things that she needs, and see Bubble Rumblebottom AKA Ekaterina Mary Jane.
